A circular Grade 3 walk of 75 minutes walking, not wheelchair accessible. No need to pre book, please just turn up on the day. If this is your first Wellbeing Walk you will be required to complete a registration form before the walk, given to you by the walk leader. Dogs permitted on a short lead. Presented by Southwold Museum and Historical Society as part of their Winter Lecture series. Doors open at 2:30pm for 3pm start. With Mu Gurbutt who read Biology at university and taught the subject in various schools including Saint Felix, Southwold. Her friendship there with Fran D’Alcorn kindled her interest in History. She is an accomplished botanical artist and has exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show. All very welcome. All proceeds support the Southwold Museum & Historical Society.

Ann Shearer is a psychotherapist, Jungian analyst, writer and lecturer, working in London and internationally. Previously, she was a journalist with The Guardian and freelance writer, and an international consultant in services to people with intellectual disabilities. What unites her different activities is an abiding fascination with what makes people the way they are, individually and collectively, and she counts herself lucky to have had opportunities to learn about so many different cultures. Her books reflect these interests, from ‘Disability: Whose Handicap?’ (1985) to ‘Why Don’t Psychotherapists Laugh?’ (2016).
